About the event
Come along to learn a unique skill from each health discipline (and we’re talking about HANDS-ON learning(‼) here, not that sit there for 3 hours and passively listen to a lecture while yawning with tears in your eyes 🥱😭). You get a fantastic opportunity to make some new friends within the healthcare space too!
Rotate around different stations:
- 💉 Medicine: will teach you how to SUTURE (on oranges 🍊)
- 👩⚕️ Nursing: will teach you how to do WOUND CARE
- 🦵 Physiotherapy: will teach you how to do TAPING
- 🦷 Dentistry: TBC
- 👓 Optometry: will showcase and teach you how to use their diagnostic tools including RETINOSCOPY
- 🦻 Audiology: will teach you how to do OTOSCOPY
- 📝 Social Work: TBC
- 🍕🥤 Food and drinks will be provided!
