Do you need someone to talk to? The University of Melbourne Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) can help. CAPS cares about your physical health and mental wellbeing, providing free short-term counseling to currently enrolled students and staff to help everyone thrive at University.
All appointments remain confidential.
Initial appointment can be booked on the day, or for the next day.
The demand for initial appointments may increase during peak times in the semester. If you cannot find an appointment, call CAPS during business hours and they can discuss support options.
For mental health support and advice outside of CAPS opening hours, including 24 hours on weekends and public holidays, you can contact the University’s After Hours Mental Health Crisis Support Service
