The Interprofessional Education and Practice Health Students' Network (IPEP HSN) is pleased to host the inaugural Interprofessional Leadership Development Symposium (ILDS). The symposium provides students across various health disciplines the opportunity to engage issues surrounding interprofessional practice in healthcare. Participants will gain important leadership skills and be challenged to innovate their clinical environments.

The symposium will feature a workshop on multidisciplinary diabetic management and a panel discussion on interprofessional education at the university. It will also feature speakers who will be addressing leadership in clinical as well as university settings.

The symposium will be held on Saturday 4th October at the Department of Physiotherapy, from 11am to 5pm, followed by a social event from 5.30pm onwards. Both the ILDS and social event are catered.

All participants will receive a signed certificate of participation. The symposium is also an excellent opportunity to network with future colleagues from other health professions.
